In the bustling hub of innovation at Hong Kong's PolyU, my story began. With a Master's in Design Strategies, I spent over a decade crafting digital experiences that bridged form and function, culminating in the creation of a groundbreaking omni-chat platform. This venture, a symbol of my belief in the transformative power of communication, was embraced by an Indian tech giant in 2023, marking a pinnacle in my digital career.
The Coffee Awakening
Yet, at the zenith of my digital journey, an unexpected muse beckoned—coffee. Its rich tapestry of aromas and flavors captivated me in 2015, redirecting my path towards the world of coffee. Immersing myself in coffee education, I became a certified SCA trainer, a Q-Grader, and a UK barista course examiner. My thirst for knowledge was insatiable. By 2020, I had founded Hong Kong's premier coffee education center, sharing the nuanced art of coffee with over 18,000 students.
Mastery Through Roasting
My journey deepened into the alchemy of coffee roasting, where I discovered my true passion. Endless hours were devoted to mastering the delicate balance of heat and time, transforming each bean into a narrative of flavors and aromas. It was here, in the pursuit of roasting excellence, that Tasse Coffee Roastery was born—a haven for coffee lovers in Tokyo, where each cup tells a story of craftsmanship and passion.
The Tokyo Roast
Tokyo, a city where tradition and innovation dance seamlessly together, was the natural choice for Tasse Coffee's expansion. Here, we've created a space that welcomes the confluence of Eastern and Western coffee cultures, mirroring the city's unique blend. At Tasse Coffee Roastery, every month brings a new journey of flavors, with all coffee roasted in-house to perfection. Beyond serving exceptional coffee, we've filled a niche by offering comprehensive coffee training in English, catering to a community eager to dive deeper into the coffee world. Tasse Coffee Roastery stands as a beacon in Tokyo, a place where coffee is not just brewed, but where stories, education, and cultures intertwine.

In the heart of a bustling city, a small but passionate step was taken in the world of coffee. Tasse Coffee planted its first seed in a modest 150 sq feet space, operating as a unique coffee studio. It was here that the first beans were ground, the first cups were brewed, and our journey in exploring the myriad wonders of coffee began.
Our relentless pursuit of coffee excellence and our vision to spread the love for specialty coffee led us to expand our roots. In July 2021, we embraced a new chapter and moved to an 850 sq feet space, evolving into a dedicated coffee education center. This move marked our commitment to providing a deeper, more enriched learning experience to all coffee enthusiasts.
With an unwavering commitment to coffee education, July 2022 saw the creation of a new teaching room. This addition was more than just an expansion; it was a symbol of our ongoing dedication to fostering a community of coffee lovers and our mission to elevate coffee knowledge and appreciation.
By July 2023, our vision had brewed into reality, culminating in the establishment of a new office. Now with a total of five classrooms, we had a solid foundation to disseminate our coffee wisdom and to keep pushing the boundaries in coffee education, ensuring a diverse and immersive learning experience for everyone who walked through our doors.
Our passion transcended borders in October 2023, with the establishment of our coffee roastery in Tokyo. This marked not just geographical expansion but also a diversification of our offerings, allowing us to delve deeper into the coffee production process and bring our unique blends directly from the bean to the cup.
